Mariniére pour le Printemps

Incrociamo le dita, ma volendo questa è stata una delle utime volte delle calze perché in questi giorni (non ci posso credere!) sono definitivamente andate! Ho già iniziato con vestititi e sandali, questo weekend appena passato poi il clima è stato a dir poco perfetto, che voglia pativo di caldo sulla pelle. Ma pensa te cosa mi fa arrivare a dire questa primavera urenda, che mi ha fatto desiderare l'estate come poche volte nella vita (perché amo e preferisco il clima autunnale.. ma... questo è stato troppo anche per me!). Ma alla fine i 30°C sono arrivati - e godiamoci il clima perfetto di questi giorni perché ho l'impressione che il caldo asfissiante sia proprio dietro l'angolo, che dite, mmm..?!? Sento già lamentele?! Ah ah. No dai! :DDD
Chi vivrà vedrà, intanto siam pronte già da un po' con gli abitini e i sandali a portata di mano, ed è finalmente ora di indossarli. Io vi dico solo che avevo talmente tanta voglia di mettere i vestitini leggeri che ora che ci siamo mi sto cambiando due o tre volte al giorno, ihih. Perché fino all'altroieri mi sono arrangiata sempre con le stesse cose nell'attesa (ed ero proprio stufa marcia di portare la giacca). Difatti ho usato tantissimo questa maglietta in questo periodo, messa e lavata di continuo perché le maniche 3/4 erano l'unica cosa adatta, ma sentivo comunque voglia d'estate e le righe sono l'unica cosa che mi facesse sentire la primavera nonostante il clima folle..:)

With my fingers crossed, this is the last outfit with tights I post since I can't believe they're definitely gone! I already started wearing dresses and sandals, and this weekend it was actually a perfect climate, I really wanted to feel the sun on my skin (and I definitely am not a suntan lover! This dreadful spring made me desire summer like I never did before, since I love autumn weather.. but this was enough, even to me! But finally we got our 30°C climate - and we should really take advantage of it, since I fear the heat is right back the corner, don't you think? Am I already hearing complaints? :DDD
We'll see, in the mean time we were ready with our summer dresses and sandals, and now it's finally time to wear it. Let's just say I was soooo in awe to wear my summer dresses that now I am changing myself at least twice a day, eheh. Since I was bored wearing the same 3 things over and over, and overbored wearing jackets and coats! As a matter of fact I overworn this striped shirt because 3/4 sleeves was the one and only thing I could wear so I was constantly on a wash&wear cycle because a breton shirt made me feel like spring despite the weather.

E' già tempo di compleanno...Mancano poche ore ma ogni anno sento meno la voglia di festeggiare alcunchè. "Bah, humbug!" direbbe Scrooge... Però mi piacciono i regali - e le wish list! Orsù, scriviamo questa letterina a Babbo Natale... :D

It's almost birthday time... Just a few hours to go but each year I feel less like celebrating anything. "Bah, humbug!" Scrooge would say...  But I obviously like presents - and wish lists! So I should go on and write my letter to Santa... :D

The Return of the wide leg Jedi.. err.. jeans.

Oh giuoia e gaudio! La primavera è arrivata, ed è durata un paio di giorni! (e poi ha ricominciato a piovere - di nuovo).
Giorni in cui, nonostante i miei super spippoloni sulle calze, non sapevo davvero se metterle o meno... Con il tempo così variabile quindi, per una volta, ho preferito i jeans. Anche su suggerimento del fidanzato che alla mia domanda "calze o no?" ha risposto dicendo che andava bene anche qualcosa di semplice una volta tanto, e chiesto se non avessi ancora dei jeans a qualche parte... Eh sì che ce li ho. Scartati quelli skinny che trovo sempre brutti e che mi stiano proprio male (ogni volta che provo ad infilarli se ne tornano zitti zitti nell'armadio) ho ri-trovato i miei amati vecchi usatissimi jeans. Non sono esattamente a zampa, e nemmeno bootcut.. Come chiamare questo modello? Flared? Sono i jeans normali di qualche anno fa, prima che la foia skinny si impadronisse della normalità. Indossandoli mi sono sentita tornare agli anni universitari...

Oh gawdy! Spring is here, and it lasted for two entire days! (and then it started raining - again).
In which I didn't know what to wear, if putting on tights or not... So I choose jeans, for once. Also by my fiancee's suggestion who answered my question "tights or not?" with another question "you no longer have jeans in your closet?". Yep, I do have jeans. After trying on my skinnies which I really didn't feel like wearing (I hate how they look, they are so unflattering), I throw out my old, well used flared jeans which were the normal cut you'd find around till a few years back, before the skinny jean invasion. By wearing it I felt like getting back to uni years...

Game of Cats

Dopo la nona, penultima, discussa puntata andata in onda negli USA domenica scorsa (che se non avete ancora visto o già letto i romanzi non voglio anticipare), anche la terza serie di Game of Thrones sta per concludersi con l'ultima puntata in onda domani su HBO (e la terza stagione doppiata prossimamente su Sky). Io lo seguo con grande passione e ancor più amo i libri della saga le Cronache del Ghiaccio e del Fuoco di George R.R.Martin. No, non sono una fan accanita del fantasy nè mai lo sarò! Però anni fa, dopo aver visto (quasi costretta e svogliatamente!) la prima puntata del serial, beh, mi sono appassionata al punto che ho iniziato subito a leggere i libri.. E non ho più smesso. E' davvero appassionante, anche per chi non ama affatto il genere fantasy perché di fantasy ce n'è veramente poco, si tratta molto di più di un plot interessante, personaggi ricchi e trame complesse, intrighi a palazzo, colpi di scena... E se non l'avete ancora letto e cercate qualcosa che vi tenga impegnate nella lettura a lungo (molto a lungo), lo consiglio caldamente, anche se di solito leggete cose di tutt'altro genere! Attenzione però, provoca dipendenza... :)
Per il lancio della terza stagione del serial tv GQ ha pubblicato delle foto in cui si paragonano i personaggi ai gatti... Alcune sono eccezionali! ^^

After the 9th episode on air last Sunday (if you didn't had a chance of watching it I won't spoiler, don't worry!), the third season of Game of Thrones is about to end with the last episone on air tomorrow on HBO. I am a great fan of this tv series and I love love love A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R.Martin, even if I am not a fantasy lover I sure am an avid reader of the books, since they are fantasy, yep, but not to the boring point, on the contrary it's a saga about an interesting plot and characters, drama, intrigue, coupe the théâtre... and if you are looking for something that will keep you engaged for many, many hours I really advice you to start reading the saga, even if you are not a fantasy fan and you usually read very different genres! Be careful though, as it is quite addicting... :)
For the launch of season 3 GQ published some fun comparison pics between some of the characters in the series and cats.. I think they are really fun! ^^

Ultimamente e prossimamente...

..e scarpette!

Ultimamente, col cambio di stagione ho tirato fuori anche tutte le scarpe, o almeno in parte, diciamo quelle che erano maggiormente a portata di mano... Per vedere cosa c'era! Sono rimaste mesi e mesi nelle loro scatole, povere scarpette, e non vedevano l'ora di uscire a fare un giro - e invece sono rimaste ancora una volta deluse, perché in questa pazza primavera ho continuato a preferire gli stivaletti semi-anfibi, causa pioggia e tempaccio. No, basta parlare del tempaccio! Parliamo di scarpette! Ovviamente mentre le spargevo per tutta la camera ho avuto anche una piccola aiutante che ha aiutato a fare ancora più caos! :)
La Mimì da brava femminuccia ama le scarpette.. Ogni volta che ce n'è un paio fuori le fa sue, e ama le scatole di scarpe! Difatti mettendo a posto ne è avanzata una, e lei se l'è presa, la sta distruggendo e col coperchio facciamo il surf! Il divertimento non manca, in questa casa :D
Manca invece una scarpiera... O qualcosa del genere. Ho visto tante idee carine per riporre le scarpe su Pinterest, ma non ne ho ancora adottato nessuno. Mi piace l'idea di usare una libreria e disporre le scarpe in bella vista, come nei negozi.. Ma con la micina pazza per le scarpe mi ci vogliono per forza anche gli sportelli, o me la ritroverò a dormire sulle mary janes, sicuro al 100%!!

Garden Cats

Finalmente fa capolino un po' di sole. Che la giornata di oggi sembra Aprile più che Giugno, ma insomma, accontentiamoci, perché arrivati a questo punto la calura insopportabile è proprio dietro l'angolo e giornate così, con un timido sole, quest'anno sono state rarissime... Ma con una bella giornata cosa c'è di meglio che andare a godersi un po' il giardino o il cortile? I gatti fortunati che ce l'hanno amano uscire in esplorazione, a controllare le novità (gli uccellini che ogni tanto si posano qua e là), rotolarsi al sole e fare dei lunghi sonnellini all'ombra di una pianta. Vorrei proprio essere un gatto in giardino! Una vita di pura goduria al sole.

Finally a little bit of sunshine. It actually looks like an early April rather than June, but it's ok since the heat is right back the corner and sunny days like this were so unusual this spring... But there's nothing better than spending the day outside in the garden and in the backyard! Lucky cats that have access outdoors love it, since there'a lot to explore and see, they can check for new entries (birds that come and go), rolling on the floor under the sun, and taking good naps under the shadow of a plant. I'd really like to be a garden cat! A life of pure joy under the sun.

Una passione mai sopita, quella per le ballerine. Anche se le porto un po' meno del solito! Colpa degli stivaletti, comodissimi col tempo ancora autunnale incerto.. Ma fra poco, se il bel tempo vero si deciderà ad arrivare (e a fermarsi), li toglierò definitivamente, e allora sarà nuovamente tempo di ballerine. O forse già di sandali, visto che siamo praticamente in giugno! Ma no dai, c'è ancora un po' di spazio per portare le ballerine. Uff che primavera difficile!
Quelle nell'immagine sopra sono tutte di Pretty Ballerinas su Carouzou, uno shop online greco che ho scoperto tramite Polyvore. Non conoscevo nessun negozio greco fino ad ora, e hanno prodotti davvero carini. Il marchio Pretty Ballerinas è comunque anche su Zalando (esiste qualcosa che non è anche su quel sito? :P )

I always loved balle flats, even tho I am wearing it less and less, at least comparing with the past. Of course the fault is this silly autumn spring weather and the fact I'm still wearing my boots... But I hope (we all hope) the weather is going to be better from now on and the ballet flats era starts.. or the sandals one.. Since it's June, already! (oh my, are those months flying or what?) Hopefully there's still quite some time to wear ballet flats. This spring was a total bummer!

Se dovessi andare un po' sull'originale sceglierei queste a righine gialle, le trovo deliziose, e probabilmente più semplici da abbinare di quanto possa sembrare. Molto carine anche quelle a pois, e le classiche bicolore mantellassè tipo chanel, e quelle in cuoio intrecciato e... Ma proseguiamo la carrellata, se iniziamo così poi non la finiamo più :D

If I had to choose just one of those colorful flats, I'd choose these yellow striped with just the right amount of quirky. But I also love the polka dots ones of course, and the classic two tones, and their brown leather ones, and.. Well, let's go on, or we never make it to the end! :D

Ah ah, ci avete creduto eh? Questa foto è del 30 Maggio dell'anno scorso, una delle ultime fatte nel cortile del mio ex palazzo. Ero fuori con i mici... Notare che i leggings li avevo messi più per praticità che per reale bisogno, che si stava da dio. Eravamo completamente immersi nel principio del trasloco, iniziando ad impacchettare scatoloni... Corri di qua e di là, le foto le ho fatte durante una pausa, ma chi aveva tempo per il blog, l'anno scorso?

And please note that the leggings were there most for a practical purpose than a real need, since it was a wonderful sunny day. We were totally into starting packing boxes for our moving, running here and there.. I shot these pics in a pause, but I didn't had any time for my blog, last year.

Little Black Dress: check

Alright, instead of getting better the weather is getting worse, right into the heart of Autumn! On saturday we got a scary storm, and it was like being on a late November.. Even tho the calendar is telling us we are at the end of May we got to keep an eye on what's going on out there, and getting dressed for the weather. So, boots, tights, long sleeves, layering are still here to stay, as well as experimenting since light dresses are not an option yet, but we are tired to wear the same winter things over and over, non?
So here's something I got on my mind from sime time now without ever trying it, but I saw it around in the blogosphere and I like this idea of a shirt under a dress, as if it was a pinafore, and then I never know what to wear with this shirt since plaid shirts are not really my thing - and so why would you buy it, you might ask? But exactly for this purpose: experimenting! I like its feature of dressing down everything its paired with. And you don't have to be afraid of experimenting. And then last year I got me a blue red & white checkered shirt I really loved to pair with my blue things, so I looked for another one on a different color combo, to wear with anything but the usual jeans (which are actually unusual to me).

No vabbè, il tempo invece di migliorare diventa sempre più instabile e autunnale! Sabato sembrava proprio fine Novembre, con un temporale spaventoso!! E nonostante il calendario ci dica che siamo quasi in Giugno, bisogna adattarsi di conseguenza. Ancora calze, ancora manche lunghe, ancora vestirsi a cipolla e ancora sperimentare perché i vestitini estivi non si possono ancora mettere e siamo un po' stanche di portare ancora e sempre le stesse cose invernali, no?!
Ecco qindi qualcosa che avevo in mente da un po' senza averlo mai effettivamente provato, ma l'ho visto in giro per blog e l'idea della camicia sotto al vestitino mi piace, in più questa camicia, nonostante sia versatile, non so mai come metterla, perché le camicie a quadri non sono tanto il mio genere - e che le compri a fare allora mi chiederete? Ma proprio per sperimentare e provare qualcosa di diverso dal solito ma senza esagerare! Mi piace la sua caratteristica di rendere un po' più sportiva qualsiasi cosa, e spesso ho proprio bisogno di questo, nel mio armadio un po' troppo perfettino. Ma non bisogna aver paura di sperimentare. E poi l'anno scorso avevo preso una camicia a quadri blu bianca e rossa che mi son goduta con la gonna blu, e ne ho voluta prendere un'altra che stesse bene con altri colori e altri abbinamenti, al di là dei soliti jeans (in realtà per me decisamente insoliti).
